**ROANOKE, Va.** – A new establishment, The Stress Factory, has opened in Roanoke, providing a unique outlet for stress relief where visitors can break items to their heart's content. This innovative facility offers a safe environment for individuals to release their frustrations through destruction.

At The Stress Factory, guests can select from a variety of breakable objects, such as old televisions and glassware. After putting on safety gear, they can unleash their pent-up energy using tools like bats and hammers in a designated room designed specifically for this purpose.

Edward Day, President and CEO of The Stress Factory, explained the inspiration behind the business, stating, “I think it can be very beneficial, especially how the youth are, very bored now in the city... I figured I’ll create a space where people can bring that boredom and do something constructive with it.”

Beyond just smashing objects, The Stress Factory also offers a "decompression package" aimed at helping visitors transition from the high-energy experience of destruction to a more relaxed state. Day emphasized that the goal is to provide a holistic experience, stating, “We are not a place that’s going to bring you here, let you break some stuff and then kick you out the door... Our goal is to allow you to transmit that energy into something positive.”

The Stress Factory officially opened its doors on Friday and has plans to expand its offerings to include food and drinks, making it a distinctive addition to the Roanoke area’s stress relief options.

For those looking for a novel way to unwind, The Stress Factory promises a cathartic experience unlike any other.
