*Franklin County, VA (Star News)* – Authorities have arrested four individuals following a series of gunfire incidents involving a residence and several vehicles in Franklin County.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO), deputies responded to multiple calls on August 31, starting just after 1 a.m. The first report concerned an active breaking and entering in the 1700 block of Mount Carmel Road. Upon arrival, deputies found that the suspects had fled, but while investigating, they received additional reports of a vehicle being shot at in the vicinity.
Investigators believe that all three incidents are interconnected, leading to the arrests of four suspects.
**Arrested Individuals:**
- **Mason Avery Wascar Reyes (19, Roanoke)**: Arrested on September 2, currently held without bond. Charges include:
- Statutory burglary of a dwelling with intent to murder
- Larceny of a firearm
- Shooting at a vehicle with malice
- Discharge of a firearm from a motor vehicle
- Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
- **Maddix Aidyn Brothers (18, Rocky Mount)**: Arrested on September 3, also held without bond. Charged with:
- Statutory burglary of a dwelling with intent to murder, rape, robbery, or arson
In addition, two 17-year-olds have been arrested and are currently in juvenile detention. They face charges of:
- Breaking and entering with intent to commit murder
- Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with additional information to come forward.
