DANVILLE — The City of Danville says the free Fly-In/Drive-In planned for Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, at Danville Regional Airport has been canceled because of the weather forecast, which calls for rain.
Organizers plan to reschedule the event for next spring. The city says a new date will be announced after arrangements are finalized.
The event had been planned to support Flight Crew 4031, which provides free non-emergency medical transportation and humanitarian aid during crises. The original program was to include classic cars, trucks, motorcycles, aircraft displays and a raffle, with shuttle service for overflow parking.
People planning to attend should rely on a future official announcement for the replacement date rather than traveling to the airport for the canceled Oct. 17 event.
