A Martinsville jury convicted Delano Tomaz Ross of first-degree murder in connection with a shooting that occurred in 2023, according to the Martinsville Bulletin.

Ross also faced a series of additional firearms-related charges stemming from the case.

Court records list charges including shooting from a vehicle, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, malicious shooting at a vehicle, reckless handling of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a violent felon.

After hearing the evidence, jurors found Ross guilty of first-degree murder.
