A 19-year-old was arrested in connection with the theft of five guns from unlocked vehicles, according to Buena Vista Police.

Police say the thefts occurred Sunday, Oct. 11 between 6:50 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. Through interviews with victims and witnesses, officers identified a suspect and a suspect vehicle, and police say they conducted a lengthy, multi-step investigation that resulted in the recovery of all five firearms. Lyric Keene was charged in the case.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information about related thefts is asked to contact the Buena Vista Police Department at (540) 261-6171.
