Danville police are asking for the public's help finding two dogs that attacked and killed a cat.

The attack happened around 5 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, in the 800 block of Pine Street. One of the dogs is white, and both appear to be huskies, according to police. The dogs were last seen traveling toward Chestnut Street on Pine Street. Danville police are seeking the animals to determine ownership and assess future danger to the community.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Danville Police Department by calling 911, patrol at 434-799-6510, investigations at 434-799-6508, or Crime Stoppers at 434-793-0000.
