— It’s race day at Bristol Motor Speedway, and Quinn Davis Racing is ready to take on one of the most famous tracks in NASCAR country.
Davis will hit the high banks at 5:30 p.m. today for the final race of the ARCA Menards Series East season.
But this race comes with a little extra Tennessee flair.
Davis has been a diehard Dollywood fan since she was just seven years old. Back when her family traveled around the country racing her quarter-midget, summer trips to Pigeon Forge included a stop at her favorite destination — Dollywood.
Now, years later, the relationship has come full circle.
This season, Davis has carried a piece of Dollywood with her to some of the country's legendary race tracks through a special partnership.
And tonight at Bristol, she'll be wearing a Dollywood-inspired firesuit one more time.
But don't expect that firesuit to simply end up hanging in a closet after the checkered flag.
Following tonight's race, Davis plans to auction the firesuit, with proceeds going to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, helping provide books to children.
So tonight, Quinn Davis isn't just racing for the checkered flag.
She's racing with a little Dollywood, a lot of Bristol, and a whole lot of heart.
