Nelson Traffic Alert | A man and a child were flown to a hospital Monday evening following a single-vehicle crash on the U.S. 220 Bypass near the Joseph Martin Highway exit.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the southbound lanes of William F. Stone Highway near the exit to Joseph Martin Highway after the crash was reported.

Responding agencies included the Ridgeway District Volunteer Fire Department, Ridgeway District Volunteer Rescue Squad, Henry County Department of Public Safety and Virginia State Police.
