Queen City News has obtained video of a violent confrontation among teenagers at Blakeney Town Center in south Charlotte.

A concerned parent sent the video to CMS teacher Justin Ashley, who said he almost vomited watching it, saying it hurt his stomach and broke his heart. The video shows a group of teenagers attacking one boy, culminating in a kick to the face that knocks him to the pavement. Ashley, a teacher at Community House Middle School, said he was deeply affected by what he saw.

CMPD is investigating the incident as an assault. The names of those involved are being withheld because of their ages.
