Lights Out in Parts of Martinsville: Utility Crews Chasing Scattered Power Outages

MARTINSVILLE, Va. — Some Martinsville residents are spending Saturday night without power as Martinsville Utilities crews work to restore scattered outages throughout the city.

Utility crews are currently working in multiple areas to identify and repair the outages.

Martinsville Utilities said customers will be restored on a rolling basis as crews reach each affected area.

Officials expect restoration efforts to continue through approximately 12 a.m.

So if your lights are out tonight, don't panic — the crews are on it, one neighborhood at a time.

Martinsville Utilities is asking customers for patience as crews work to get everyone back online.
