7:35 p.m. TUE - 10/6/26 - ⚠️ A 100 mph hurricane (soon to be Isaias) with 120 mph gusts will likely hit the gulf coast Friday; then pull in 200-300% our normal moisture in the air Sunday well away from the center!
Heavy rain and strong wind shear favors inland tornadoes for the Carolinas and Virginias if forecast trends continue. 🚨
Rarely do gulf hurricanes miss our local area. The center may be west of us but that puts the region in the dangerous NE and East zones of the circulation of the torrential downpours and squalls.
Wind shear and rotation is a given east of the track as well due to converging counter-clockwise 🔄 winds underneath a strong layer of low level SE winds just above the ground. 🌪️ I’m continually compiling the latest forecast data and applying my own analysis and pattern recognition techniques unique to SW and South Central Virginia.
