— It wasn't exactly the kind of dinner traffic anyone was looking for Tuesday evening.
A logging truck collided with a pickup truck near Clarence’s Steakhouse in Ridgeway, creating a traffic headache in the area.
The Virginia State Police are investigating the crash.
Drivers traveling through the area should use caution and expect possible delays while emergency crews work the scene and investigators determine what happened.
At this time, information on injuries and the exact circumstances surrounding the crash was not immediately available.
One thing is certain: when a logging truck and a pickup meet unexpectedly, the road usually doesn't win.
