**Update*** K9 Zajo Update: Back on Duty and Doing Great! For everyone asking about Zajo, we’re happy to share that he is back to his normal self and working alongside his handler, Deputy Logan Grubbs! Following the September 28 incident, Zajo was given the next day off to rest and be monitored for any effects from his medication. He returned to duty the following day, and on Friday, he and Deputy Grubbs successfully completed their patrol recertification! This included obedience, article searches, tracking, aggression control, and building searches. Thank you to everyone who has brought gifts, called to check on him, sent kind messages, and offered prayers. Zajo is truly enjoying all his new toys and treats! Deputy Grubbs and everyone at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office are grateful for the love and support you have shown Zajo. Our community has certainly made him feel special!
