— After nearly three decades of dedication, compassion, and service to the community, Janice H. Stevenson is celebrating a well-deserved retirement! The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is recognizing Stevenson for her 28 years of dedicated service to Henry County, including 23 years serving the county and her final five years with the Sheriff’s Office. Throughout her career, Stevenson earned the respect and admiration of her coworkers through her kindness, positive attitude, and genuine concern for others. Known for always looking for the good in people, Stevenson consistently went above and beyond to help those around her. Her compassion, dedication, and willingness to lend a helping hand made a lasting impression on both her colleagues and the many people she served. While her presence will certainly be missed, the friendships she has built and the positive impact she has made will remain long after her retirement. Sheriff Wayne Davis and the entire Henry County Sheriff’s Office expressed their appreciation for Stevenson's many years of faithful service and extended their best wishes for a happy, healthy, and fulfilling retirement.
