Mayberry Cool Cars & Rods Cruise-In set for Oct. 18 in downtown Mount Airy

MOUNT AIRY — The Mayberry Cool Cars & Rods Cruise-In will return to downtown Mount Airy from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026, giving residents and visitors an afternoon to see classic cars, hot rods and vintage vehicles.

The cruise-in is part of a monthly series presented by the Mount Airy Downtown Business Association. The official listing describes a relaxed downtown gathering with live music, local shops and businesses, and time to walk among the vehicles and displays.

The Oct. 18 date falls on the event's regular third-Sunday schedule and is the final monthly cruise-in listed for the May-through-October series. The event is in downtown Mount Airy; the tourism listing does not identify a single street or admission charge, so attendees should use the official page for any updated arrival or organizer instructions.

That combination of cars, music and downtown shopping makes the afternoon a practical weekend option for people who want to support local businesses while visiting the cruise-in. Weather or event details can change, so readers should confirm before traveling.
