Rockingham County announced on February 27, 2026 that leaders and aviation partners held a ribbon-cutting for AvioTechs, LLC at Rockingham County Shiloh Airport.
County officials said the facility will provide general and corporate aircraft maintenance and repair services, expanding available aviation support for both locally based and visiting aircraft.
For the Reidsville-Rockingham corridor, the project adds an economic-development and workforce angle to airport operations, with county leadership framing the investment as part of a broader strategy to grow aviation business activity.
The county release links the opening to prior airport infrastructure investment and says the new operation strengthens Shiloh Airport's role as a regional service and development hub.
