People researching family roots can bring their questions to a genealogy fair Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Madison-Mayodan Library in Rockingham County.
The fair is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the library, 611 Burton Street, Madison. The official county calendar says the program is being held by the Genealogical Society of Rockingham and Stokes NC.
The event gives residents a local place to compare research leads, learn more about family-history resources and connect with others working through old records. The county listing does not publish a ticket requirement or registration deadline.
