Roanoke County schedules three-day Food Truck Week in September

Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism will bring a rotating lineup of food trucks to three county locations during RoCo Food Truck Week, Sept. 15-17, 2026.

The weekday pop-up runs 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. The schedule is Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Walrond Park, with Countryman Jamaican Grill, Mountain Grille and Star City Sweet Treats; Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Green Hill Park, with Empanada Nirvana, Grandpa Ike's Mini Donuts and The Chaotic Kitchen Food Truck; and Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Roanoke County Administration building, 5204 Bernard Drive, with Get Glazed, La Shunca, Rocky Mount Smokehouse and Star City Burger Company.

The county says seating will be available, and visitors may bring a picnic blanket. The event is designed as a casual lunch or weekday outing while residents explore different county locations.

Because menus, hours and truck availability can change, check the county's event page before heading out. The county Parks, Recreation and Tourism office can also be reached at 540-387-6078.
