Roanoke County offices to close Oct. 1-2 for software upgrades

ROANOKE COUNTY — The county’s Treasurer’s Office and Commissioner of the Revenue’s Office will be closed Thursday, Oct. 1, and Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, while software upgrades are completed.

The county says its online payment portals will also be unavailable during the two-day service interruption. Residents who need to make a payment or reach either office should plan around the closure and check the county’s official channels for any updated instructions.

Questions or concerns can be directed to the Treasurer’s Office at 540-772-2056 or the Commissioner of the Revenue’s Office at 540-772-2046. The notice does not list an alternate payment window or a separate temporary service location.
