Roanoke special-election early voting window remains active through April 18

The City of Roanoke said early voting for the statewide special election on the constitutional redistricting question began on March 6, 2026 and continues through April 18, 2026.

City election guidance lists weekday voting hours at the Roanoke Office of Voter Registration and Elections, plus additional Saturday access on April 11 and April 18.

Roanoke's published schedule also sets key deadlines: voter registration by April 14 and absentee-ballot request cutoff by April 10, ahead of Election Day on April 21, 2026.

For Roanoke Valley voters, the operational takeaway is that the in-person early-voting window is open now, with final eligibility and absentee timelines arriving in the next two weeks.
