Average gas prices in Virginia have decreased by six cents this week, now standing at $3.32 per gallon. This decrease aligns with a national trend, where the average price fell three cents to $3.47, according to AAA.
In Danville, the average gas price dropped eight cents for the second consecutive week, reaching $3.20 per gallon. Pittsylvania County also saw a reduction, with prices falling four cents to $3.24.
Martinsville recorded a five-cent decline, bringing the average to $3.28, while Henry County's gas prices decreased by three cents to $3.32. Additionally, Halifax County experienced a six-cent drop for the second week in a row, now averaging $3.35 per gallon.
