Danville Farmers Market Expands Hours for Holiday Season
EVENTS
The Danville Farmers Market announced today that it will extend its operating hours during the upcoming holiday season to better serve the community.
Starting November 1st, the market will be open Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, adding four additional hours to accommodate working families and holiday shoppers.
"We've had so many requests from people who work during our regular hours," said Market Manager Rebecca Davis. "This expansion allows us to serve more families and support our local farmers during their busiest season."
The market, located at 635 Main Street in downtown Danville, features over 25 local vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, handmade crafts, and seasonal items. Special holiday offerings will include fresh Christmas trees, wreaths, and locally-made gift items.
The extended hours will continue through December 23rd. Regular winter hours will resume in January. For more information, visit danvillefarmersmarket.org or call (434) 793-1753.
