Danville fire crews contain April 3 structure fire with no injuries reported

A Danville Fire Department media release says crews responded at about 3:00 p.m. on April 3, 2026 to a reported structure fire at 266 Camp Grove Place.

The city says first-arriving units found smoke and a small bedroom fire, then extinguished the blaze and ventilated the home. The release reports minor damage and no injuries.

Danville Fire said multiple support agencies responded on scene, including Danville Life Saving Crew, Danville Water & Gas, Danville Electric, and Danville Police.

For residents, this is a same-week public-safety operations update: a fast, multi-unit response limited the incident impact, while the fire marshal review remains part of the follow-up process.
