Danville's Office of Economic Development and Tourism is planning a free workshop for city-licensed small businesses and entrepreneurs on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 2 to 6 p.m..
The session, titled Reach Without the Click: Zero-Click Website Analysis, is scheduled for Dan River Falls, 420 Memorial Drive, Suite 200. The city says the program will cover how customers use tools such as maps, online reviews, social platforms and AI-generated results when deciding where to shop, eat or hire services.
The workshop is designed for businesses that want to assess their current digital presence, identify gaps and make practical improvements in visibility, consistency and customer trust. It is free, but registration is required; the city says participants must be located in Danville and hold an active city business license.
Eligible owners should use the city's registration link and confirm their eligibility before making plans. No advanced search-engine or AI experience is required, according to the announcement.
