DANVILLE — The Danville Police Department’s sixth annual Police on the Green golf tournament is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, with a 9 a.m. tee time at Goodyear Golf Club.
The Captain’s Choice tournament costs $240 per four-player team, including lunch, green fees and a cart. The official registration notice lists optional $5 mulligans, limited to one per player, and a $5 red-tee option, also limited to one per player.
Prizes are planned for first through third place. Proceeds support the Danville Police Department’s Community Engagement efforts, which fund events and outreach with residents.
The department’s official notice says checks should be payable to the Danville Police Department and mailed to C/o Community Engagement Golf Tournament, P.O. Box 3300, Danville, VA 24543. Readers should use the department’s event notice for registration and any remaining availability.
