Danville-area entrepreneurs have a near-term chance to leave a workshop with more than a list of marketing ideas: the city's six-week Holiday Campaign Lab is designed to produce a ready-to-launch campaign for the 2026 holiday season.
The Danville Office of Economic Development & Tourism says the series begins Tuesday, Aug. 4, and continues each Tuesday through Sept. 8, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Dan River Falls, 420 Memorial Drive, Suite 200. Registration is free, but required.
Participants will work through audience targeting, owned, earned and paid channels, budget planning and an implementation timeline. Businesses that provide a $250 match can receive another $250 from the program, creating a total implementation budget of $750. That structure makes the program useful for businesses that need a practical campaign plan and a modest amount of launch capital before the holiday buying season.
Small businesses and entrepreneurs can register through the city's application form and review related business resources through Discover Danville's business page. Businesses should confirm space and participation details before attending.
