<p><strong>Public-service lead:</strong> Greensboro says seven Planning Department application fees increased after adoption of the city's 2026-27 fiscal-year budget. The city says the revisions are primarily tied to the cost of public notification for hearing and public-hearing applications handled by the Board of Adjustment and Planning and Zoning Commission.</p><p>The city's fee schedule has been updated, but the short notice does not list the individual old and new amounts.</p><p><strong>Editorial review:</strong> Pull the current fee schedule, identify all seven changes and effective dates, and confirm whether applications already filed are subject to the new rates.
