Guilford County’s Historic Preservation Commission is scheduled to meet Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, at 6 p.m. in Greensboro, giving residents a public forum for local preservation matters.
The county’s 2026 schedule says regular meetings are typically held in the Carolyn Q. Coleman Conference Room on the first floor of the Old Guilford County Courthouse, 301 W. Market St. The listed meeting schedule also pairs the Aug. 18 meeting date with a Sept. 2 appeal deadline.
The schedule is a calendar document rather than a meeting agenda, so the subjects expected for discussion may change. Residents who plan to attend should check Guilford County Planning and Development’s current meeting information before leaving home.
The department lists its office at Independence Center, 400 W. Market St., Greensboro, and a phone number of 336-641-3334. The county’s official 2026 Historic Preservation Commission schedule provides the date, typical time and location.
