Greensboro reports more than 3,200 homes completed or permitted in first Road to 10,000 year

Greensboro says more than 3,200 homes have been completed or permitted during the first year of its Road to 10,000 housing initiative.

The city released the figure in its first annual report on Aug. 26. The initiative is intended to expand local housing options, but the reported total combines homes already completed with homes that have received permits; it is not a count of new homes that are all occupied or finished.
