Guilford County Howl-O-Ween VI set Oct. 25 at Country Park

Guilford County Animal Services and Greensboro Parks and Recreation will bring Howl-O-Ween VI to Country Park on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026. The free community event is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. at 3905 Nathanael Greene Drive in Greensboro.

The county says the afternoon will include costumes, trick-or-treating, furry friends, local vendors and activities for the whole family. Admission is free for attendees and vendors, and the county is still accepting community partners, candy or-goodie distributors and vendors for this year's event.

Businesses and organizations interested in participating can contact Guilford County Animal Services at GCASinfo@guilfordcountync.gov. The county's event page lists Hannah Kohler as a contact at 336-641-3400 and says last year's event drew more than 1,000 attendees and over 40 vendors and organizations; those figures describe the prior event, not a forecast for 2026.
