Guilford County's Small Business and Entrepreneurship Department will host a free online workshop Thursday, Oct. 8, for businesses that want to learn more about Small Business Enterprise certification.
The county lists the session from 11 a.m. to noon and says it will cover the certification process for people who are new to it or need a refresher. The program is online, so participants can join from home or a business workspace rather than traveling to a meeting room.
Guilford County describes its SBED program as a way to promote local business opportunities in the county's contracting and procurement process.
