Greensboro parks schedules October Halloween events across the city

Greensboro Parks and Recreation has posted a month of Halloween-themed public events, beginning with an outdoor showing of A Quiet Place at Barber Park on Friday, Oct. 9. The city lists the movie program from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m.; because the film is rated R, residents should consider age suitability before attending.

Upcoming offerings also include the Halloween Extravaganza at Hester Park on Oct. 17, followed by Meet and Treat on the Downtown Greenway on Oct. 18. The city lists a range of October community activities, including Ghoulash! in Center City and LeBauer Parks, Howl-O-Ween at Country Park, Trunk or Treat at Craft Recreation Center and The Great Pumpkin Parking Lot at Lindley Recreation Center.

Event times, locations and activity details differ by program, and the city advises residents to use the official event listing before making plans. Several offerings are designed for families, while individual age guidance and attendance details should be checked for each event.
