Greensboro families looking for adaptive recreation can mark a near-term registration window on the calendar.
Greensboro Adaptive & Inclusive Recreation lists registration from Monday, July 20, through Friday, August 21, 2026, for its free fall Challenger program and cheerleading. The city page describes the program as designed for individuals with disabilities to learn skills and compete with other teams in the Triad area.
The program is listed for participants ages 10 to 35. Posted dates are Fridays, 6 to 7:30 p.m., September 4 through October 23, with a note that days, times, practices and games may vary. Bryan Park Soccer Complex, 6105 Townsend Road in Brown Summit, is listed as the main location, though locations and times may vary.
Families should register through the AIR Parks and Recreation links, email AIR or call 336-373-2626. One practical note: the city page heading and registration links use slightly different sport wording, so confirm the exact activity and schedule while registering.
Other fall AIR listings include community day trips, Friday bowling/social hour, Adaptive Fitness and Games, a free fall dance, PGA HOPE, adaptive kayaking and adaptive tennis.
