N.C. A&T career-fair early-bird deadline gives Triad employers one more recruiting push

Triad employers recruiting for full-time jobs, paid internships, co-ops or part-time work have a July 31 deadline tied to North Carolina A&T State University's fall recruiting calendar.

The university's 2026 Fall Career Fair is set for Sept. 16, and the Greensboro Chamber's event listing says employers should register by Friday, July 31 to receive early-bird pricing. The fair is open to all N.C. A&T students and alumni across majors and classifications.

The opportunity is notable for employers building pipelines in engineering, technology, business, health care, agriculture and liberal arts. The listing reports more than 5,000 attendees in 2024 and more than 6,200 in 2025; some employers also conduct next-day interviews, adding a faster hiring option for companies with immediate openings.

Businesses can review the employer invitation and register through Handshake, or contact N.C. A&T's Office of Career Services at ocs@ncat.edu. The event is a concrete next step for manufacturers, hospitals, contractors and professional-services firms competing for early-career talent.
