7:51 p.m. SUN - 8/16/26 - A cluster of storms is moving quickly SE at 40 mph through South Central Virginia out of eastern Bedford County into CAMPBELL COUNTY and out of SE Franklin County into Pittsylvania County.

Outflow from the storms may generate rapidly growing new cells near Smith Mountain Lake soon. Also watch Gretna to Danville.
