A loose boa constrictor was safely captured on a residential street, officials said.

The large snake was spotted along a sidewalk before it was contained without incident. No injuries were reported.

Officials are working to determine where the snake came from and remind residents to report any loose exotic animals to authorities.

We'll share more if the owner is identified.
