Martinsville-area entrepreneurs have until Friday, Aug. 14, to apply for Startup MHC, an eight-week program for people launching startup businesses.
The program is sponsored by the Chamber's Partnership for Economic Growth, or C-PEG. The Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation says accepted participants may also compete for prize packages intended to help grow their businesses.
Startup MHC is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Sept. 8, and continue on Tuesday evenings through Oct. 27. The sessions are listed for the P&HCC Dalton IDEA Center at 26 Fayette St. in Martinsville.
The EDC's event listing directs prospective applicants to Martinsville.com for application information and lists 276-632-6401 for questions. The notice does not list a tuition amount or meeting time, so applicants should confirm those details before enrolling.
