— A woman was shot Saturday evening following what authorities say appears to have been a domestic-related altercation at the Sheetz in Ridgeway.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired at the store and located a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Authorities say the investigation is still in its early stages, but the preliminary information indicates the shooting stemmed from some type of domestic altercation.

Investigators are now speaking with witnesses and reviewing available surveillance camera footage as they work to determine exactly what happened.

The Sheetz store is expected to remain closed for an extended period while the investigation continues.
