— Rain putting a damper on your golf game? That excuse may soon be going out of bounds in Collinsville.

House of Golf is coming to town this November, bringing an indoor golf facility to the community and giving local golfers a place to swing a club even when Mother Nature refuses to cooperate.

The new business is expected to open beside Livy's Ice Cream, giving Collinsville residents another reason to get out of the house when the weather turns sour.

Whether it's rain, cold temperatures, or just a day when the golf course isn't cooperating, golfers may soon have another option to work on their game without worrying about the forecast.

For local golfers, November can't come soon enough. And on rainy days? At least there will be somewhere to go practice that swing instead of blaming the weather for that three-putt!
