Rockingham County commissioners will hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, in the commissioners chambers at the Rockingham County Governmental Center, 371 NC Highway 65 in Reidsville, on two zoning map amendments.

The first, case 2026-19, requests a rezoning of a parcel identified by tax PIN 7987-00-61-4922 near 2110 Ashley Loop Road in the Wentworth Township from Residential Protected to Residential Agriculture. The second, case 2026-20, requests a rezoning of a parcel identified by tax PIN 6992-00-96-9679 at 565 Mount Zion Church Road in the Huntsville Township from Residential Agriculture and Residential Protected to Neighborhood Commercial.

Commissioners will consider a final determination on both matters at the hearing. Questions about either case go to Rockingham County Community Development at 336-342-8130 or planners@rockinghamcountync.gov, and the notice was published Nov. 1 and Nov. 8.
