Well, that campaign strategy apparently didn't go according to plan!

The BTW21 leader came up well short on election night in Martinsville, finishing last in the race and pulling in just 12% of the vote.

Despite making headlines and taking aim at the media over what he apparently viewed as Martinsville's many problems, voters didn't exactly rush to get behind his candidacy.

Maybe blaming the media for everything wasn't quite the winning campaign strategy he thought it would be. LOL!

At the end of the night, the numbers told the story. Just 12% of the vote and a last-place finish.
