Sheriff Davis said the investigation grew out of an increase in calls and complaints from the nearby Apartments. Investigators with the Sheriff's Office's vice and narcotics interdiction units began looking into reports of methamphetamine allegedly being sold from a residence in the area.
That investigation eventually led detectives to obtain a search warrant.
When deputies executed the warrant Thursday night, four people — three men and one woman — were detained while investigators continued processing the scene and searching for evidence.
Davis said investigators located drug paraphernalia consistent with narcotics distribution.
The search, however, was far from over.
