34-year-old Ronnie Allen Davis arrested in Blairs, Virginia, on outstanding North Carolina warrants
BLairs, Va. — A 34-year-old man wanted on multiple felony warrants involving sex offender registry violations has been apprehended in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, according to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office.
Ronnie Allen Davis was taken into custody by the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office at a residence in Blairs, Virginia.
Davis was wanted in North Carolina on the following charges:
Felony Failure to Register
Failure to Report Address
Parole/Probation Violation
Cyberstalking
According to Rockingham County Sheriff Billy Parker, Deputy K. Barrow provided Virginia authorities with a possible location for Davis. Authorities in Virginia subsequently conducted an investigation and located him.
Davis was arrested without incident and served with a fugitive warrant. He is being held in Virginia pending extradition to North Carolina.
The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office thanked the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office and its personnel for their assistance in locating and apprehending Davis.
Sheriff Parker also recognized Deputy K. Barrow and D. Robertson, who assists with the sex offender registry, for their professionalism and assistance in the case.
UPDATE: Davis has been apprehended and remains in custody in Virginia pending extradition.
