The Henry County Administration Building in Martinsville is closed Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, for Columbus Day and Yorktown Victory Day, according to the county calendar.
The county notice lists the closure as an all-day event and gives Martinsville, Virginia, 24112, as the address. Residents planning in-person county business should confirm department hours before making a trip; that planning reminder is practical guidance from Star News, not a separate county announcement.
The calendar entry does not list changes for every individual county service. Readers who need a specific office should check the county website before visiting.
