— Book lovers in Martinsville will soon have a new place to get lost in a good story. Haven Hollow Bookstore has announced plans to open its first physical storefront on Main Street in Uptown Martinsville, with a target opening date of November 2026.
The independent bookstore shared the announcement on social media, revealing that a dream of creating a welcoming space for readers and independent authors is becoming a reality.
But Haven Hollow plans to offer more than shelves of books.
The business will feature a carefully curated collection of titles, with a special focus on supporting independent authors. Plans also include “The Hollow,” a cozy reading lounge where visitors can settle into a comfortable chair and enjoy a quiet escape surrounded by books.
The owners say the goal is to create a gathering place where stories come alive, friendships develop and the community can connect over a shared love of reading.
Renovations are underway as the business prepares for its anticipated November opening. Haven Hollow plans to share updates, previews of the space and additional announcements as the project progresses.
