With the changing political landscape in Martinsville, some residents are beginning to ask a question that could spark plenty of conversation around town: Is it time for Julian Mei to become the next Mayor of Martinsville?

The idea isn't coming out of nowhere. Recently, Martinsville City Councilman Aaron Rawls brought up the possibility, putting Mei's name into a conversation that could become increasingly interesting as the city's political dynamics continue to change.

Martinsville has certainly seen its share of political drama, disagreements and controversy in recent years. With a new political chapter potentially taking shape, residents may be looking for different leadership and a fresh direction for the city's future.

Could Julian Mei be the person to fill that role? Or should Martinsville look elsewhere for its next mayor?

Of course, the mayor's position is ultimately a decision for City Council, but public opinion is another important part of the equation.

NOW WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Would Julian Mei make a good Mayor of Martinsville?

Is it time for a change in leadership, or should things stay as they are?

YOU BE THE JUDGE!
