Martinsville-Henry County YMCA posts 2026-27 afterschool registration steps

Martinsville-Henry County families planning for the school year have a clear afterschool option to check now.

The Martinsville-Henry County YMCA has posted its 2026-27 afterschool registration information. The program is listed for Monday through Friday, from the end of the school day until 6 p.m., including early dismissal days. Posted site locations include Axton Elementary, Carver Elementary, Drewry Mason Elementary, Mt. Olivet Elementary and Stanleytown Elementary.

To enroll, the YMCA says families should complete the registration form, schedule an appointment, sign the payment contract and pay a $50 registration fee. Families are also told to bring a current immunization record, a current physical exam signed by a health care provider and the child's birth certificate.

The posted 2026-27 weekly rates are $70 for members and $83 for non-members for afterschool care. School Days Out are listed at $36 daily for members and $41 daily for non-members, while part-time care is listed at $21 daily.
