Rockingham bookmobile schedules Oct. 8 stop at French's Corner Store

Residents in the Rockingham County corridor will have a mobile-library stop Thursday, Oct. 8, when the county library's outreach bookmobile is scheduled at French's Corner Store.

The county's official outreach page lists the stop from 1:45 to 3:15 p.m. The bookmobile brings library materials closer to neighborhoods that are not next to a branch and gives patrons a place to browse, pick up holds and ask the outreach librarian for help locating materials.

Rockingham County says bookmobile materials are checked out at no cost to cardholders, and the vehicle also offers Wi-Fi plus iPads and laptops for checkout. Materials borrowed from the bookmobile can be returned to any county branch. Because mobile schedules can change, residents should check the county page before leaving.
