EDEN — Rockingham County Public Health will bring its Mobile Medical Unit to Eden on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026, for a day of free and low-cost community health screenings.
The county calendar lists the screenings from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Kingsway Plaza, 314 Kings Hwy., Eden. The mobile unit will be set up in the parking lot between Planet Fitness and Dollar Tree.
The official notice names blood-pressure checks and STI screenings among the services available. It also says all services are confidential, a practical detail for residents deciding whether the mobile clinic fits their schedule.
The county listing describes the services as free and low-cost but does not specify an appointment requirement or a separate fee for each screening. Residents should review the official event page for any same-day update before traveling to the plaza.
