Rockingham County board to weigh confidential Project Weight incentive Monday

Rockingham County commissioners are scheduled to take up a confidential economic-development project Monday that could shape the county's industrial-tax base, even though the public agenda does not name the company or disclose the proposed investment and job count.

The July 20 agenda lists a public hearing for Project Weight at the commission's next meeting, set for 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at the Governmental Center in Wentworth.
